LSR Processing is looking for an Applications Developer to join our IT Department. This person should be high energy, quality conscious and a quick learner. As a member of the Internal Business Management Systems team you will collaborate with other teams within IT as well as other groups within the organization. Team member responsibilities include the full SDLC for customization development, enhancements, integrations, report writing, upgrades and ongoing in-house support.

The Application Developer

• Develops, unit tests, documents, implements and maintains software features/enhancements for company’s internal and external custom software applications
• Designs and develops custom reports to support business functions
• Participates in application upgrades
• Designs and implements integrations and automated solutions between systems
• Provides ongoing support of applications
• Documents all customizations and enhancements to include requirements gathering, technical specifications, training documentation and other documents as required.

Required experience and/or skills:

• Self-motivated
• Organized
• Team player
• 2+ years of software development/ programming
• Required languages: SQL, .NET Technologies (C# preferred), VBA
• Experience creating views, stored procedures, functions and triggers
• Experience creating complex queries
• Client/Server applications
• ADO.Net
• Visual Studio 2005
• Experience with at least one or more of the following: Visual Basic, MS SQL Server, Dexterity, Sanscript, C++, C#, HTML, ASP
• Experience writing complete, effective documentation

Desired experience and/or skills:

• 1+ year(s) report writing (desired tools: MS SQL Server Reporting Services, Crystal Reports, Dynamics Report Writer, AnyView, Smartlists)
• Utilizing designing, programming and testing methodologies
• Knowledge of the functional aspects within the financial/accounting/HR arena desired (Dynamics GP experience is a plus)
• Knowledge or experience with SharePoint is a plus
• Candidates must be detail oriented, disciplined, effective communicators and team players. A Degree in computer science, information technology, accounting or commensurate experience required.
